Another reversal of policy

I WRITE with sadness upon reading the article “More time for Form 5 students” (The Star, Aug 20), which reported that compulsory pass for English and practical science in SPM exam have been put on hold.

We are back to square one, and the students and teachers who were preparing thus far for both the English compulsory pass and science practical exams will now just have to pull the handbrakes and change track.
