Promoting unity

I REFER to the news report, “Mat Cat To Promote Unity” (The Star, Aug 3). Project Jom Kawan, where people of all races sit down and enjoy nasi lemak, organised by Lydia May Wong at the KL Sentral train station is indeed a most welcome move for enhancing the much needed unity among all races in the country.

Hats off to the organiser and her assistants for undertaking such a commendable project.
