DURING the recent IOC meeting in Kuala Lumpur, the prospect of Malaysia and Singapore co-hosting the 2024 Olympics was mooted by IOC president Thomas Bach.
The call should be lauded, and South-East Asia should seize the moment as until now hosting the Olympics had not crossed the minds of the regional leaders and has remained only a dream.
