Make areas around LRT stations safe


I AM pleased to read recent media reports that Prasarana Malaysia Bhd’s Ampang light rail transit (LRT) line extension project is on track, with the first phase set for launch on Oct 31.

Prasarana Group director of project development Datuk Zohari Sulaiman has said the overall completion rate of Phase 1, which involves the opening of four new stations for the Ampang Line, is at 92.58%. The four stations are Awan Besar, Muhibbah, Alam Sutera and Kinrara BK5.
