WHEN it’s Chinese New Year, petrol price increase and now the Goods and Services Tax (GST), they take the opportunity to increase their prices. There is no justification for them to do this.
Most of their ingredients like meat, seafood, noodles, etc are not effected by the GST. By increasing the price for a bowl of noodles from RM4.50 to RM5 is more than 10%.
