Keep tighter control on plastic use

I REFER to the article “Marine creatures most at risk” (The Star, March 25). It is indeed shocking that a pilot whale was found to have ingested 4.25kg of plastic bags and died.

Sabah Wildlife Department assistant director Dr Sen Nathan pointed out that green turtles and dolphins are also dying after ingesting plastic bags in the sea.
