Clearing the misconception


I REFER to the article “Separation anxiety” by Dr Milton Lum (Sunday Star, March 1) and the three letters, “Hospitals practise dispensing integration” (The Star, March 2), “Proper separation must have strict enforcement” (The Star, March 11) and “Giving patients better healthcare” (The Star, March 12).

The claims by some doctors that dispensing in government hospitals and clinics is not being done by pharmacists reflect ignorance of the real situation.
