Tighter laws needed for our highways


AS a regular user of the North Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and North-South Expressway (PLUS) since its implementation, I can categorically state that the Malaysian Highway Authority, Road Safety Department, Works Ministry and PLUS are totally guilty for ignoring ways and means to implement safety and traffic guidelines on the highways.

Faced on a daily basis, the problem starts even before one gets onto the highway proper.
