ACCORDING to Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, more than 300 Chinese nationals used Malaysia as a transit point on their way to join the Islamic State (IS) militant group in Syria and Iraq.
The Government has warned that the rise of IS influence can inspire and re-ignite militant groups in Malaysia.
