WE refer to the letter “Tour bus operators in catch-22 situation” (The Star, Sept 25) and would like to make some clarification on the issues raised.
Tourist guides are licensed professionals who not only meet the training requirements under the National Occupational Skill Standards but also have to pass the stringent examination set by the Tourism and Culture Ministry.
