KLIA2 buggy rides short-term measure

HAVING had the harrowing experience of walking what seemed endless lengths of walkways while lumbered with a cabin bag and other paraphernalia to and from an aircraft at KLIA2 recently, it is heartening to note that Malaysia Airports Bhd has responded to comments in these columns by providing buggies for the elderly, women and children.

The fact that the complaint has been seen to be legitimate enough to do something about is commendable, but at the same time it is an admission of an oversight in the planning of this extravagant KLIA2 project.
