Spas need foreign help


I REFER to the report “Freeze on Filipina masseuses” (Sunday Star, Nov 25), which reported that Sabah will freeze work permits for Filipinas to work in spas and reflexology centres from Jan 1 as wives there are blaming them for breaking up families.

We have also been informed very recently by the Immigration Department that Filipina spa therapists are also not allowed in peninsular Malaysia.
