Not that easy to be up to date

I REFER to “Doctors are accredited to practise medicine” (The Star, Feb 7) and would like to clarify a few issues.

Rational pharmacotherapy is a very complex area. We need to accept the fact that treatment with medicines has become very complex as patients are presented with multiple conditions, and there are new pharmaceutical products making their way into the market every day.
