Charges and fees not under DCA control

I REFER to “Keep close tabs on flying schools” (The Star, Aug 1).

As the technical regulator of the civil aviation industry, the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) is responsible for conducting periodic safety audit and continuous surveillance on all flight training schools in Malaysia.
