OF late, the media has been buzzing with complaints by houseowners on TNB’s excessive billing after the change from analog to digital meters.

TNB’s explanations and justifications citing power theft through the tampering of the old analog meters are but a lame excuse, as most of the houseowners affected are not given the opportunity to be present to verify whether their meters were indeed tampered with prior to their being dismantled from the respective premises.
