Dress code for tomoi reasonable

I refer to the report “Tomoi in danger of being KO’d” (The Star, Sept 21). I don’t see any harm done to the sport if the Kelantan Government impose the aurat-covering dress code for tomoi contestants.

We have seen how the dress code of other sports have changed through the years. English football players used to wear very short shorts in the 70s but look at what the players, and our Malaysian football players, are wearing now – it almost fulfils the aurat-covering dress code.
