Happy with hospital’s action

I REFER to “Not hospital’s policy to deny treatment” (The Star, Jan 2). As advised, I have contacted Dr Mohd. Norzi Ghazali, the director of Hospital Putrajaya (HPJ), on his direct line and shared with him my friend’s experience who underwent surgery at a private ENT specialist after being denied treatment at HPJ.

I appreciate Dr Mohd Norzi’s concern over the matter and am also very grateful for his detailed explanation on the challenges faced by HPJ. He assured me that patients referred to HPJ by any private clinic would be attended to, with other improvements to be made soon.
