FLYING squad here, one-stop centre there, may I know what is going on? Each time when we are faced with a problem or encounter some delay or inefficiency issues, the immediate response is to either form a flying squad or to set up a one-stop centre.

I am referring to the article on flying squads being formed to tackle the problem of dirty school canteens (“Flying squads to check canteen cleanliness,” The Star, July 2).
