SAM is shocked at news report in a local daily in which it was reported that a pregnant buffalo was dragged and starved. Dragging the poor animal for 10km behind a four wheel drive constitutes the single most extreme example of man’s inhumanity to another sentient creature.
The unprofessional, aggressive and brutal handling of animals has no place in Malaysian society. Apart from being dragged through the streets it was also starved for six days until the owner took her back.
