Just have more buses during peak hours

I AM a frequent user of public transport especially the one provided by Rapid KL.

However, every morning while waiting for the bus at the KL Sentral bus terminal I feel as though I am watching National Geographic Wildlife Special.

This is because there will be hundreds of people stampeding to get into the bus. I find this highly inappropriate.

Firstly, the T82 (KL Sentral –Damansara) route is the one with the highest traffic. At any given time, especially during the morning and evening rush hours, there will be hundreds of people waiting to get into that particular bus.

To make things worse, the Rapid KL management only provides one bus every half an hour. Things are so bad that I have seen grown man falling on the staircase while boarding the bus.

As a frequent user, I don’t blame the public for not queuing up or for causing a stampede each time the bus arrives. This is because if they don’t get into the bus, they will be late for work.

Things inside an overloaded bus isn’t a pretty site. It feels like a “sardine can”.

I have called Rapid KL call centre and also e-mailed them a complaint but nothing has happened.

All these can be avoided if the management of Rapid KL increases the frequency of buses on this particular route.
