Lump all water services under one contract

I REFER to your report “Water tariff in Klang Valley set to rise 2-4%,” (The Star, Sept 21).  

In announcing a marginal increase in the water tariff, Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Mohamad Khir Toyo also suggested that the current water producers should take over from Perbadanan Urus Air Selangor (PUAS) the responsibility of distributing water and reducing the high level of non-revenue water.
