I READ with concern your report of two children being abandoned by their parents, “Go home, parents of abandoned kids urged”, (The Star, July 21).
The authorities are right in asking their parents to return. However, it was disconcerting to read the request for the return of the children’s birth certificates so that the older child can attend school.
