AS long as the Racial Vilification Act in Western Australia has no teeth to bite hard and deep enough, racist acts such as those that re-emerged in various parts of Perth last week will continue. 

These incidents will cause needless fear, anxiety and distress to those who have lived peacefully and served the nation as good citizens ought to do.
