The authorities are trying to stamp out piracy by cracking down on the illegal replication of movies but very little is going to change unless they can curb demand as well, writes SHAILA KOSHY. 

AS of June 29, cinemagoers have been seeing a snappy new trailer but it's not of any movie. Instead, it carries a serious message – “Movie Piracy: It’s A Crime.”
