I REFER to your report, “Agency mooted to upgrade Pangkor,” (The Star, April 27) which says Pangkor Island recorded 500,000 tourists in 2001 but the number dropped to only 300,000 in 2002.

My family and I are currently on a three-month vacation on the island. This is our third visit to this beautiful and exciting country. We are from Norway.
