Anti-smoking drive will fail without enforcement

THE Government has set aside RM20mil a year for the next five years for the Health Ministry's anti-smoking campaign. The RM100mil is aimed at discouraging teenagers from picking up this unhealthy habit. 

This will be a boost in the fight against smoking, which has proven to be one of the causes of cancer and other serious diseases but aggressive advertisements alone will be insufficient in dealing with this deadly habit.
