The pathways to a successful performance

STUDENTS often ask lecturers about the “secrets of success”. Much as a mentor would like to recommend some simple and sure techniques, the young have to be cautioned that there is no magical method or grand formula to achieve our goals in life or to flourish in any endeavour. A large number of factors need to come together to turn dares into doors, adversities into opportunities.

Before some key success-factors are outlined, another caution must be administered: success is not a destination but a journey. Success is never final. It is a continuing process of repeating, reinforcing and refining past accomplishments and conquering new challenges.
