IT is encouraging to see KTM Bhd taking positive steps to improve the infrastructure of its commuter service in response to public demand, “KTMB to make changes to its plans”, (The Star, Dec 21).

The proposed double tracking of its Sentul-Batu Caves line and the addition of new stations at Batu Caves and near Taman Wahyu will be a great boon to residents in northern Kuala Lumpur in particular and tourism in general.
