High Commission staff complacent

MY son who is studying in Australia submitted all relevant travelling documents in July 2003 to the Malaysian High Commission in Canberra for a new passport, as the old one would be expiring in November.  

The High Commission in Canberra replied in a letter dated July 28 that his documents would be submitted to the Immigration Department in Kuala Lumpur for processing, which would take about 12 weeks.
