OF LATE, we have read much about increasingly acute traffic congestion in the Klang Valley. There are of course many ways to solve the problem at macro level including initiatives such as the Integrated Transport Information System and building of more roads and rail lines. 

However, we must not neglect opportunities that will yield a much faster result at almost negligible cost. One glaring example: our traffic junctions are in dire need of simple improvements. This is a short list of what could be done:
