I READ with dismay Choo Kien Wai's somewhat sweeping conclusions that “indecent” dressing by some Malaysian women was responsible for corrupting the mind and morality of some Malaysian men, and may lead to activities such as prostitution, adultery and premarital sex (“Indecent dressing not proper in our society”, The Star, July 17). 

A rational analysis of his opinions raised some interesting questions:
