I WANT to applaud the announcement by Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting requiring car park management companies to install closed-circuit televisions and to have 24-hour surveillance, “Councils must act” (The Star, June 23).
These are definitely steps in the right direction in ensuring public safety.
