I refer to the letter, “Who is our watchdog?” (The Star, May 6) and could not agree more with Ng Kai Chong’s views.
Singapore has the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) to monitor the pesticide level in vegetables sold in that country. Like Ng, I would like to know which authority is responsible for this in Malaysia, and what kind of action it is taking on this issue.
