Panel estimates polls will cost RM60m and needs 100,000 workers

THE Election Commission has estimated that the general election will cost more than RM60mil and require about 100,000 election workers, reports Nanyang Siang Pau. 

Its secretary Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar said the higher expenditure and manpower were necessary because of the additional 25 parliamentary and 63 state constituencies proposed under the delineation exercise.
