The Federal Territories Ministry oversees three places. But it is Kuala Lumpur that demands the most attention, with its many social, economic and cultural challenges. 

FEDERAL Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad recently appeared on a programme I moderated, Bicara Minda, organised by the Sinar Harian newspaper. He has mellowed a lot now, perhaps realising that he is a minister and member of the cabinet. After all, he is no more the opposition maverick that he was for many years.
