It was interesting because Tan Sri Muhyuddin Yassin, who led the chorus of calls for Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi to resign as UMNO President and Prime Minister after Barisan Nasional’s disastrous showing in the 12th General Election (GE12) had thrown his hat in the ring for the post of Deputy President of UMNO and by convention, if he wins, he would be the Deputy Prime Minister.
