THE letter from eight US Congressmen to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, complaining about Malaysia’s policy on Israel, is typical only in being ill- informed and unrealistic.

It is ignorant of history, politics, government, inter-national relations, and voca-bulary, among others. Far from presenting a dignified and intelligent position of its authors, the letter does the reverse.
