High-tea politics in Penang DAP polls


A PICTURE is worth a thousand words but the photograph of former Penang chief minister Lim Guan Eng surrounded by "his team" ahead of the state DAP polls spoke more of votes than words.

Guan Eng had hosted a high-tea at a Butterworth hotel for more than 50 DAP politicians who included state exco members, assemblymen and branch chiefs, many of whom would be contesting for a spot on the 15-person leadership at the Sept 22 party election.
