Jimmy Choo’s shoes gave the world an idea of what it would be like to add a little Malaysia to its strut. Michelle Yeoh has gone further, leaving the country’s stamp now on the globe’s most famous walkway.

Under a crisp, winter-blue sky at 6927 Hollywood Boulevard, a sea of fans and curious tourists gathered on Feb 18 to witness a rare convergence of Hollywood glamour and Malaysian pride as Oscar winner Michelle was immortalised as the 2,836th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
