Just confiscate their bicycles to stop them

THE issue of “Mat Lajak” (youngsters who race or perform stunts on modified bicycles) being a road menace and endangering themselves has been going on for too long.

The social problem of children running wild in the small hours of the morning needs serious looking into. Yet I don’t see how it is especially hard to stop them: one just needs to confiscate their highly modified bicycles. Keep on confiscating their bicycles if they buy more. See if their parents will be willing to keep spending money on buying bicycles again and again. Hit them in the pockets.
