Urgent: Romanian president designates Luca Niculescu to form gov't


BUCHAREST, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- Romanian President Nicusor Dan designated Luca Niculescu, state secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to form the government, following new consultations held at Cotroceni Palace with parliamentary parties and groups on Monday evening, according to Romania's national news agency Agerpres.
