North Korea says hostile US policy unchanged, nuclear arms to keep growing

SEOUL, ⁠Aug 31 (Reuters) - North ⁠Korea said on ‌Monday the United States' hostile policy remained ​unchanged and ⁠said its ⁠nuclear weapons were an ⁠absolute ‌guarantee of sovereignty ⁠that would continue to ​be ‌strengthened.

A statement from ⁠its ​Foreign Ministry carried by state ⁠media KCNA also ​said expecting any easing of regional ⁠tensions was "meaningless" and that North Korea's policy toward the ​United ⁠States had not ​changed at ‌all.
