SAN FRANCISCO, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Apple on Thursday reported revenue of 109.42 billion U.S. dollars for its fiscal 2026 third quarter that ended on June 27, up 16 percent year over year, setting a record for a June quarter.
The company posted quarterly net income of 29.79 billion dollars, up 27 percent from 23.43 billion dollars in the same period last year. Diluted earnings per share rose 29 percent to 2.02 dollars from 1.57 dollars, including a favorable impact of 0.11 dollars from tariff refunds.
Apple's quarterly gross margin stood at 50.1 percent, including a favorable impact of approximately 2 percentage points from tariff refunds.
Sales of iPhone increased 22 percent year over year to 54.25 billion dollars, while Mac sales rose 29 percent to 10.35 billion dollars. Sales of iPad declined 6 percent to 6.19 billion dollars.
Sales of wearables, home and accessories products increased to 7.88 billion dollars from 7.40 billion dollars a year earlier. Services revenue rose 12 percent to a June-quarter record of 30.74 billion dollars.
"Today, Apple is proud to report our strongest June quarter ever," said Tim Cook, Apple's CEO, in a press release, adding that the company achieved double-digit revenue growth across iPhone, Mac and services, as well as in every geographic segment. He also highlighted the introduction of the all-new Siri AI at the company's Worldwide Developers Conference.
Kevan Parekh, Apple's CFO, said in the release that the quarterly results set June-quarter records for both earnings per share and operating cash flow. The company's installed base of active devices also reached an all-time high across all major product categories and geographic segments, he said.
Apple's board of directors declared a cash dividend of 0.27 dollars per share of the company's common stock. The dividend is payable on Aug. 13 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on Aug. 10, according to the release.
