Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, June 22 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices went down on Monday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery lost 1.78 U.S. dollars, or 2.32 percent, to settle at 74.82 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for August delivery dropped 2.67 dollars, or 3.31 percent, to settle at 77.90 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
