Tokyo primary school evacuated after fire breaks out, media report

TOKYO, ⁠June 19 (Reuters) - A ⁠primary school in ‌northern Tokyo was evacuated on Friday ​after a ⁠fire broke ⁠out in the music ⁠room ‌on the ⁠fourth floor, Japanese media ​reported.

Several ‌students sustained injuries from ⁠smoke ​inhalation, public broadcaster NHK ⁠reported.

When the blaze ​started, there were about 300 students ⁠and staff at the Takinogawa Daisan Elementary ​School, NHK ⁠said.
