Russia's used car sales rise 6.4 pct in April


MOSCOW, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Russia's used passenger car sales rose 6.4 percent year on year in April to 542,200 units, analytical agency Autostat said Thursday.

The sales figure also grew 14.1 percent compared with March, marking the highest monthly figure this year, according to the agency.

Russian brand Lada remained the leading brand with 126,098 used cars sold, followed by Toyota.

In the first four months of 2026, Russia's used passenger car market increased 5.1 percent year on year to 1.87 million units, Autostat said.
