Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices went down on Thursday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery lost 1.91 U.S. dollars, or 1.94 percent, to settle at 96.35 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for July delivery dropped 2.44 dollars, or 2.32 percent, to settle at 102.58 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
