Crude futures settle lower


NEW YORK, May 20 (Xinhua) -- Oil prices fell on Wednesday.

The West Texas Intermediate for July delivery dropped 5.89 U.S. dollars, or 5.66 percent, to settle at 98.26 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for July delivery lost 6.26 dollars, or 5.63 percent, to settle at 105.02 dollars a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.
