UN alarmed by threats to Iran's power plants, bridges

NEW YORK: The United Nations (UN) is alarmed by the United States (US) rhetoric that threatens attacks on Iran's power plants and bridges, a UN spokesperson said on Monday (April 6), reported Xinhua.

"We were alarmed by the rhetoric seen in that social media post that threatened American attacks on power plants, bridges, and other infrastructure should Iran not agree to a deal," Stephane Dujarric, chief spokesman for the UN secretary-general, said at a daily briefing. – Bernama
