2 Ghanaian ministers involved in tragic road accident in northern Ghana

ACCRA, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) -- Two Ghanaian ministers were involved in a road traffic accident on Thursday in the northern part of the country, a statement by the press secretary to the education minister confirmed.

The statement announced that Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu and Deputy Minister for Communications and Digital Technology Mohammed Adams Sukparu were on their way to an official event when the incident occurred.

The two ministers, with all other members of the convoy, according to the statement, are currently in stable condition.
